The main organization components of TADS are:
The Coordinating Center team, which handles the day-to-day activities of the study, statistical analyses, and reporting of data. The team includes representatives from the Department of Psychiatry at Duke University Medical Center (DUMC) and the Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI).

The Steering Committee, which provides global oversight of the study and coordinates publication of the results. The Committee includes investigators from the Coordinating Center and each site, other consulting researchers selected by the Coordinating Center, the NIMH Government Project Officer (GPO), and other NIMH staff members.
Scientific Advisors, who provide independent scientific review and oversight to consult on study methods and ethical issues.
The Data Safety Monitoring Board, which monitors the safety of patients enrolled in the study. Board members are appointed by the Director of NIMH.
The ten participating Sites, which are funded by subcontracts with DUMC.
